Sixteen participants will play in two groups, with group A playing in Lausanne and group B playing in Zürich, before moving to Zürich for the semifinals and finals.
Some of this year’s participants include the United States, Russia, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain and Germany, among others.
National Hockey League
Moving from international ice hockey to America’s based NHL that currently consists of 31 teams (24 in the US and 7 in Canada), let’s take a look at what’s in store for them this year. This season has already started on October 2, 2019, and will last until April 4, 2020, so it is still fairly early to predict the winner, as a lot of things might change in the next couple of months.
The end of this season isn’t the end of the NHL games for this year, as the fans can enjoy the first of the Stanley cup playoff games just a few days later. In late May and early June of 2020, the Stanley Cup finals will be held, and the official 2020–2021 season starts in early October 2020.
